# How to fix rubix cube

The Rubix cube  is a mechanical 3D puzzle, invented more than 30 years ago and considered as the best-selling toy of all times. Many people give up on rubix cube after playing it for only a few minutes and never pick it up again. Here,we show you the simplest way to solve a rubik's cube for beginners.

Rubix Cube Mechanism

The Rubix cube is actually a 26 pieces puzzle. There are three types of pieces. Corner piece, Edge piece and Center piece. The corner piece has three different color stickers on it  and there are 8 corner pieces in the cube. The edge piece has two different color stickers on it and there are 12 edge pieces in the cube. The center piece has one color sticker on it and 6 center pieces, all are attached to the core. The core is the inside of the Rubix Cube, which holds all the pieces together and is attached to the center pieces with rotatable axes.

How to solve ?

Step 1 :- Solve the four corners

Find the side with the white square in the center and put it on the top. Set into position the four edge pieces which contain white. All the edge pieces can be placed in a maximum of eight moves. You should be able to place the corners without needing algorithms.

Step 2 :- Solve the edges

We can turn the white face to the bottom and in this step we will complete the first two layers . There are two algorithms we used here and they are symmetric, called the F2L Right and F2L Left algorithms. These algorithms insert the Up-Front edge piece from the top layer in the middle layer not messing up already solved white face. If an edge piece is on the place in the second layer orienting wrong then we have to apply the algorithm twice.

Step 3 :- Organizing middle layer

Place the four edges of the middle layer and those edge pieces are the ones that do not contain yellow in our example. You need to know only one algorithm to solve the middle layer. The second algorithm is symmetrical to the first. Your edge piece will then be in the last layer, and just have to use the algorithm again to position it properly in the middle layer.

Step 4 :- Orient the last layer corners

In this step, our step goal is to form a cross shape on the upper face of the cube. The edge pieces not need to fit the colors on the sides. In this stage it's important to execute this alg when the two correctly oriented edge pieces are facing to the back and left faces, and not to the frontright faces.

Step 5 :- Permuting the last layer edges

In this step our goal is to permute the last layer edge pieces. The goal is only to position the corners in their correct place; we don't have to orient them correctly. If all four edges are flipped, perform the "H" pattern algorithm from any side, and you will have to perform the algorithm one more time to solve the cube. Your rubix cube should now be solved.
